Silver Knight Chaplain and Battle Knight. Marlowe's duties include advising the knight-commanders on ethical and spiritual issues, staging the traditional rites of the order, and recording the heroic deeds of his fellows. In addition to being a chaplain he is also a fully qualified battle-knight.
Marlowe has visited Earth many times. He was there on a training program with the Federation Defense Force when Crihna Rock was destroyed. He felt helpless watching from afar as his home seemed on the verge of war; he would feel helpless again during the Typhon Incident, when he was on a deep space mission to Jupiter and could not return to help fight the monster.
