Laser cannons are a common weapon in the GearHead Universe. Models exist for both personal and mecha scale combat. The two models are significantly different.
Personal scale[]
These Heavy Arms have excellent range and power, good in the mid to late game for PCs and lancemates that have Weight Lifting and a good Bo stat. They are single-shot weapons, so the Sniper talent can be used.
Two personal scale versions of the laser cannon exist. The first is sometimes found in stores, and the second is used by the Sentinel.

Mecha scale[]
The LAS-10 laser cannon is one of the most popular weapons in the early to mid game due to its long range and high damage, with no ammunition required. In contrast to the personal scale version, they are relatively small mecha weapons and use the Mecha Gunnery skill.
In addition to the basic version, several mecha use other versions. The Harpy's is especially good, lighter and longer range than the others.
